ABOUT THE NEW YORK STATE CONTRACT
REPORTER

The New York State Contract Reporter authorized by Chapter 564
of the Laws of 1988, is the official weekly newsletter for announcements
of contracting opportunities in the estimated amount of $15,000
or more with state entities, including but not limited to agencies,
departments, boards, bureaus, commissions a majority of whose members
are appointed by the Governor, divisions, offices, councils, committees
and public benefit corporations and public authorities a majority
of whose members are appointed by the Governor.
The Contract Reporter also contains announcements for the State
University of New York and the City University of New York for contracts
of $20,000 or more. Notices are published only once, and with the
exception of villages, municipalities, the Port Authority of NY/NJ
and other organizations who are not bound by law, at least 15 business
days prior to the date on which the bid or proposal is due.
The Contract Reporter publishes, on a quarterly basis, announcements of
bidding opportunities of more than $5,000 but less than $15,000 with State
agencies and with the State University and the City University of New York
in amounts over $10,000 but less than $20,000. Projected procurements of
$200,000 or more are announced on a semi-annual basis.
The State of New York, the Department of Economic
Development, and L&P Media shall not be liable to any subscribers
or any other person for any loss, damages, cost or expenses incurred
in connection with the use of, or reliance upon any information
contained in the Contract Reporter. The information is subject to
typographical error in transcription or printing. Information contained
in this publication is intended only as notification of available
bidding and contracting opportunities. The State of New York reserves
all rights in connection with the Contract Reporter and the duplication
of its contents, without the express written consent of the Department
of Economic Development, is prohibited.
