Disassemble River Barge

The New York Power Authority the ("Authority"), Niagara Power Project, is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to remove from the Niagara River one (1) each Buckhorn Barge hereafter referred to as the ("Scrap Metal"). Removal includes the proper removal and disposal of stone ballast from the top of the barge. A fair-market credit to the Authority is expected from the steel recovered from the barge.

Bidders are hereby cautioned to make use of the New York Power Authority’s web site at www.nypa.gov in order to obtain current and complete bid documents, bid addenda, post-bid addenda and related notices. Bidders obtaining bid documents from sources other than www.nypa.gov web site do so at their own risk. Incomplete bid responses may be rejected by the Authority.
